The main lodge area is tastefully decorated and comprises of a dining area, a lounge and a comfortable bar area. Meals are served in our main lodge area, on the candle-lit deck, or privately in your chalet or on your deck. Rates include dinner as well as bed and breakfast.

Our goal was to rest this weekend and we got more than enough rest. We were pampered and on hand behavior. The room was luxurious and tidy, with a beautiful view of the Sabie River. Our breakfast and dinner were sent to our room and we could eat and socialize in the comfort of our room by our fireplace. We were also treated to a lovely massage which was also in our room! We returned to our home rested. We look forward to visiting again!
The service and meals were out of this world, the cleanliness of the unit was absolutely top notch, we will definitely visit again. Perfect getaway for a couple.

The host is very considerate and friendly. The place is like a little paradise. Pool is cold water, but accommodation is top notch. The waterfall shower and rock bath was an experience and one of its kind. Would definitely recommend the place for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views and walking path to the river.

From the moment we stopped at Tanemera until we left on the winding road, my husband and I couldn't talk enough about the hospitality, the comfortable accommodation, the beautiful scenery and the views, the delicious meals and the special treat for my husband's birthday. We felt like royalty! A long weekend we will never forget!

The most romantic getaway imaginable! The staff are friendly and well trained and every detail with which guests' needs are met is noticeable. Kudos to the team for the excellent New Year's dinner and the treats in the fridge! Privacy is respected here, but the personal attention is not lacking. Every couple deserves such a getaway.

Tanamera is a very beautiful place with an incredible view. We were kindly received and were helped to take our luggage to our chalet. In time, we realized that the two managers really work very hard to give the best to all guests, but sometimes they have to work in difficult conditions. While we were there on New Year's Eve the power was out from 5pm until early the next morning. Apparently there is a generator but it was not in good working order and we had to sit by candlelight all night. We feel that the owners could spend more to maintain the place. To pay here at the R4,500 a night, they can really offer more. The view, the food and the service were worth it. But for that amount I feel they could have done a little better. With the fact that there is no TV in the room (which I don't care for) they might be able to offer a little more entertainment on the premises itself.

Very cozy atmosphere. Delicious food. Very romantic. Breakfast in the chalet's deck over nature is a must.
